Privacy Policy

Plain talk: we run a free website scanner. We collect as little as possible, we never sell any of it, and everything below explains exactly what we do collect and why.

What we collect, and when

What we do with it

Who touches the data (our processors)

Both are established providers with their own privacy and security commitments. We share only what's needed for them to do those jobs.

Cookies

DomainBlender sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly functional cookies for security purposes such as bot mitigation.

Scanning third-party websites

When you scan a URL, our server fetches that page the same way any browser or search engine would — publicly available content only. We don't log in to anything, bypass anything, or store copies of scanned sites beyond short-term caching to keep the tool fast.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act — you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email us (address below) from the address in question and tell us what you want done. We'll act on it within 30 days — usually much faster, because deleting a contact takes about ten seconds and we have no reason to drag our feet.

How long we keep it

Contact details and consent records are kept while you remain subscribed, or as long as needed to demonstrate compliance. Unsubscribe or request deletion and marketing stops immediately; records are removed except where the law requires keeping proof of past consent.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS, a Content-Security-Policy, and the rest of the modern security-header stack — the same standards our scanner grades other sites on. Contact data lives in our CRM behind authenticated access, not on this website.

Children

This tool is for website owners and professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top. We won't quietly expand what we collect.
